Lily.

The wild Lilys bloom everywhere. Like giant sunbursts they shine at the side of roads and our neglected garden is full of them. Our garden is spontaneous in colour and unexpected beauty. It’s perfect.

Small Universe.

A piece of bark and lichen fallen from somewhere and yet I see oceans and landscapes in a random discovery that makes the universe small.

Yellow.

Dandelions faded into clocks and I thought they only journeyed on the wind but apparently birds like the taste of Summers last minutes as well.

Wild Rose.

Everywhere along roadsides, in fields, in neglected lawns the wild Rose blooms. Bright pink, dark almost red, thousands of small blooms with a heady fragrance in the shimmering heat of July sun.

Dandelion Clock.

The time of dandelions has passed, small seconds drift on the wind and clocks give way to the sunshine of bright Buttercups.

Honeysuckle butterfly.

This year the honeysuckle has flourished and been radiant with butterflies. Hummingbirds rest on tiny branches and big fat bumbly bees fly drunkenly to every flower. Life and colour everywhere..no wonder the opaque stillness of Winter seems so long.
